Im thinking about buying a new pc and i have proposition of this kind of stuff:
1. Intel Quad core q8200 1333
2. 4gh ram dual xms corsair (cooled)
3. Motherboard : Asus P5a
4. Graphics Geforce gt9800 1 GB
etc.

what do u think about it? Im wondering mainly at Core . Is that sense to buy quad core?

Any sugestions? maybe something change (to Cheaper?)
 
I think you should buy Quad core if you will utilize all 4 cores with the software or games you will be using..

Many games and software do not support quad and therefore it is wasted..

I have pentium4 3.(something)ghz which is OC'd to 3.6ghz along with 4gb ram(something) also have Gainward Bliss 8800GT GS OC'd massively, not sure of cores,

Will do full spec of system and clocks at some stage tomorrow mate,, am way too drunk tonight to do it..



PS: Sorry, I am drunk most nights..... ( Ok, ALL nights ) hahahahah
 
will quad core will last u 2 years i7 will last 3 years :P moores law clocks speeds are doubled every year :D but 9800 not so bad will last u 1.5 years :P
