human eye doesnt see the diference when it's more than 60 fps or so. But when more fps the less your eye gets tired.
But in games like cod the more fps u have the more u can jump or shit like that.

if I were you I would stay with the shit config, in the moment u change it u lose your last excuse mac OS X Lion comin soon on my pc it should encrease my fps aswell coz "it runs much faster than snow leopard" they say
