K guys, finally I found the time to join the thread...
These are some of the bands / producers / songs / whatever I hear at the moment:
Nine Inch Nails - 1.000.000 (LIVE) (Trent Reznor is the fuckin messiah of progressive industrial)
London Elektricity - Dirty Dozen (Classic DNB...)
Björk - Joga (She may be a bitch but I like her music...)
The Raconteurs - Rich Kid Blues (Side project of White Stripes' Jack White; Song by Terry Reid)
Chris Liebing - Dark Matter (Old track, still good)
Tool - Rosetta stoned (My favourite band since day one. Progressive.Fuckin.Metal.Gods. Stunning rythm works and ridiculous guitar riffing + the voice and lyrics of Maynard James Keenan... unbeatable. 'Rosetta stoned' is kind of a weird song, if you want to hear a more representative Tool song, click
HERE
The Doors - Riders on the storm (One of the few bands I know I will still hear when I'm grey and old...And another proof for the thesis that only the good die young)
Mouse on Mars - Wipe that sound (German experimental electronic music. I saw them 1999 @ Electronic Beats Festival, Cologne - it was one of the most impressive live gigs I've ever been to. Forget Daft Punk!
)
Queens of the stone age - Little Sister (They had to invent a new music genre to make Josh Homme's old band 'Kyuss' fit in (Stoner Rock, yay...) Listen to the sound of his guitar... special customized amplifier + effect bank...)
The Mars Volta - Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus (Some call it 'Salsa Prog'... lol)
K, these 10 should be enough for now...
