GameSpy dead

When I played xf I just went on the in game server list, which sounded to me the easiest way :) there it tells U everything abt the server :) that's how I do each time I play cod, I open game -> server list -> join selected server :D
 
that s depressengly sad for most swat players but didnt surprised me much even if gamespy didnt went off there have been 1-2 filled servers rest are emty so what a big deal after all ...

Shall we start to search for some new tactical experience? ;)
 
hehehe my mind now blocks all jetson posts like adverts u see on screen u just ignore them :D

I think maybe you can wait 1-3 days last time it took that long too :)

I don't know anything 'bout SWAT, but I think your comment was just about joining cod servers? :D

I'm too lazy to read all this stuff again and I don't remember is it said by some1 already but: Why is the GameSpy going down?

Uff not this little theatre once again! And yes kf it was usefull! Why should U search servers through xf? Isn't so simple to simply open the game?
 
in 2004 ING took over gamespy technology
Now in august 2012 glu mobile is taking it over

only question is i do not know the contract most likely they cut off the network swat4 after 5 years
they do not earn money anymore. it coss money

i got experience with other game's
Like westwood studios (EA) they also quit supporting games, creating and joining games wasn't possible anymore.
Keeps telling ~~cannot connect to master server~~.

I can't find any information about Glu shuting down Swat or other support.
And creating a game server is still possible so main server is still responding


If they do not shut is down it could take a while before its fixed, cause swat hasn't the priority.
