this is a sliding window panel illusion, actually when he places a napkin on the spot of the window panel, an extra hidden glass panel expose a round hole, so he could slide his arm through it, the napkin is purposely blocking the visible hole. when he slides back his arm in, the hidden panel descends, thus making an illusion that the window is one solid piece with no hidden traps! that's how it was done!
