CoD4 freezing problem

... I'm having this problem since today. Every time i start cod on every server after 1-2 mins the pc freezes. I tried also to run it without xfire and steam open but the problem isnt gone.. how I can resolve it?

My specs if u need it

Win7 64bit
Intel 2 Quad 9400 2.66@GHz
4GB Ram DDR2
Palit Nvidia GTS 450 1GB GDDR5

How old is your computer and what operating system?

Computer specs?

Do you have mic plugged in front panel or?

if u read up i posted my specs and no my microphone is plugged in the back of the pc and OS im using win7 64 bit. And(again) this is first time that this happen

Do you have a place for mic in front? Realtek audio system or?

Check device manager and if you see Realtek audio blablabla and High definition audio device, DISABLE the high definition audio device

now not only cod freeze my pc, but also portal 2 and borderlands 2....

I remember this happening to me with CoD2 on my older computer when my fan stopped working and the system was overheating. Don't know if this is the case here, though.

if it was the video card i think it could give me worse problems

but now i have another problem... the pc now freezes also with borderlands 2 and portal 2

I also think it's your graphic card.. Download a program and check the temp of your GPU and CPU.

i guess the same. use a vakkuum cleaner to remove the dust inside of your pc. clean the fan of your cpu, gpu and power supply.
