Cod 4 leagues etc

Hi guys the clan I play for used to play cod4 but stoped about 2 years ago, we are about to start again but we dont know the leagues or best format for us to start at as we will be easy meat to start with
could you give me some leagues to try that would suit a new (noobish) clan

Start with ESL
Train on Versus and then you might wanna join some 5v5 or 4v4 ladders

Later if you will find ESL boring and not good enough try some GGL

Join any tournaments that you think you are ready for. I suggest you dont join the very big once and skill-specified once (only if it is med coz they dont create lower).

I should mention we have are own server/ website but play other games atm, also we have over 20 active players and maby 20 part time players
How many players per team as we play 8v8 most games

its 5 maximum - 1 team
I suppose u can create 2 teams inside your clan but I wouldnt suggest that
