90 years shit long, would it be the longest existing party in world ?
Well, 90% of people thinks that China is communist however much have changed since 1979. I would even say that in CPC are signs of democracy; pro:
Asia Times Online :: SUN WUKONG : At 90, CCP rediscovers democracy
As for my MA I read about structure and decision making in Central Military Commission, reading that I just couldn't stop compering it to decision making in EU
How the future will look ? Well i belive that China will continue to develope at rate around 8% GDP/year, up to 2030 it might even become richer than U.S however not stronger in military means. Eventhough today China is eradicating its Coal eletric plants and builing new Atomic plants - up to 2020 there ought to be around 50/60 atomic plants. Does it mean that China is becoming greener ?
Few days ago China relisead new aircraft carrier; pro:
First China aircraft carrier sea trial next week | Navy News at DefenseTalk
Its old, even i would say useless for power projection, however its mainl built as traiing ship. Up to 2020 China is splanning to have 2/3 new domesting biuld aircraft carrier with displacement around 60 000/75 000. More powerfull China ? Will this change the balance of power in Pacific ?
And what about People ? 80 mln are part of CPC. However does it mean that 1.5 billion people also support CCP. Fankly to say,I think that they support CPC untill the country developes around 8%p/y.
Discussion ?
